Where, oh, where is all my beautiful California sunshine? Can I just tell you all how much I HATE driving in snow? This whole week it’s been snowing with a vengeance. It took me two and a half hours to drive home from work one night. I saw no less than three accidents, two ambulances, one fire truck and five police cars on the way. I’d forgotten my cell phone that day and couldn’t call home and let them know I was all right. My family was about ready to jump in the four wheeler and come hunt for me.
On the way to work the next day I found myself slipping and sliding all over the road. I was gripping the steering wheel so tight my knuckles were white. That’s when I noticed the truck ahead of me had a wickedly grinning silver skull attached to its back end. Every time the driver would hit the breaks, the skull’s eyes would glow an evil red. That can't be a good omen, I thought to myself. Not exactly the kind of thing you want leering at you all the way to work as you drive on icy roads with snow pelting down. I only saw one abulance and one firetruck on the way to work today, so people must be getting more cautious. Or stuck in ditches, take your pick.
Now if I can just make it home in one piece after work today. It's enough to make me want to hybernate for the winter! See you all next spring. (I wish)

I can't believe all the snow...I can't even get to my backyard. I couldn't get in my house last night when I got back from Sunny AZ. Also poor Leche can't find a place to do his business outside. ... I'm sad that I left all that behind for this! ARGH! Remember you can always crash at my house if you can't get home! Let's get together soon ok. Love you!
